Beach yoga, coastal walks, dinners under the stars, and life aboard a sailing yacht.
Just thinking about it feels good, doesn’t it? Then perhaps it’s time to experience it for real.
If you feel the desire to spend more time in nature, reconnect with yourself, and dedicate a week to things that genuinely make you feel good, this experience was created with you in mind.
It is an invitation to step away from the pace of everyday life and create space for yourself—away from deadlines, responsibilities, and the constant pressure that often fills our days.
There is something special about the sea. Living close to it for an entire week has a way of changing your perspective. Mornings begin with sparkling water and fresh air. Evenings unfold beneath extraordinary sunsets. At night, far from city lights, the stars seem brighter than you remembered.
As we sail between islands, you’ll have time to finally start that book you’ve been meaning to read, enjoy meaningful conversations, take a swim in crystal-clear waters, or simply stretch out in the sun and embrace the pleasure of doing absolutely nothing.
Our yoga sessions are designed to welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.
Each teacher brings their own personality, experience, and approach, but they all share the same intention: creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
For us, yoga is not about performance. It is not about flexibility, competition, or achieving a particular pose.
It is an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, reconnect with your body, and develop greater awareness of yourself and the present moment. Throughout the week, yoga, meditation, and breathing practices become a natural part of daily life, helping you unwind and fully embrace the experience.
You’ll find the profiles of all our teachers further down the page.
Wellbeing is also about enjoying life. Each evening we gather for sunset aperitifs, fresh drinks, and delicious food.
We believe that taking care of yourself should never mean giving up life’s simple pleasures. Good food, shared meals, laughter, meaningful conversations, and beautiful views are all part of the experience.
Life on board is relaxed, informal, and authentic. There is no pressure to be anything other than yourself.
One of the most appreciated aspects of this holiday is its simplicity. You arrive. Everything is ready. The boat is prepared, your cabin is waiting, the food is already on board, and there are no complicated calculations, shopping trips, or last-minute logistics to manage.
You can simply settle in and begin your holiday. Without even noticing it, you’ll start to slow down. Your mind becomes quieter. Your body relaxes. And you return home feeling genuinely refreshed.
Not because you’ve escaped your life, but because you’ve had the opportunity to reconnect with what matters most.
We could tell you how special this experience is. But perhaps it’s better to let some of our guests speak for themselves.
Maria Grazia
“Seven incredible days on a sailing boat—my very first time! A truly special holiday. Barbara and Alberto, yoga and sailing, were the perfect combination for switching off and completely relaxing.”
Jennifer
“Quintessence is a name that delivers far beyond its promise. Nature, food, history, art, wellbeing and adventure all came together beautifully. Our yoga teacher’s sensitivity brought every place to life, from wild beaches to historic monuments and colourful harbours. An unforgettable journey.”
Barbara
“I would recommend Yoga & Sail to anyone looking for a holiday that is adventurous, relaxing, fun and deeply restorative at the same time. The connection with the sea, the yoga practice and the group creates something truly special.”
Daniela
“A beautiful experience lived in harmony with nature, the group and the crew. The skipper’s professionalism, experience and kindness made these days unforgettable. Throughout the week, I had the feeling of living outside of ordinary time—a dream that is impossible to put a price on.”
Think of this week not simply as a break, but as an opportunity to pause, recharge, and reconnect with yourself.
The effects often continue long after the journey has ended.
With only seven guests on board each week, places are limited.
Find the week that feels right for you and start looking forward to a summer experience you’ll remember for years to come.
The idea of spending a week on a sailing yacht sounds wonderful. Crystal-clear water, secluded bays, unforgettable sunsets, life at sea. And it can be exactly that. But not all sailing holidays are created equal. Many people discover this only after they’ve arrived.
On many boats, your holiday begins with a trip to the supermarket. Before you even leave the harbour, you’ll spend hours shopping with the rest of the crew, discussing what to buy, how much to spend, and who wants what.
Inevitably, the trolley fills up with pasta, snacks, cured meats, bottles of wine and whatever happens to be easiest to agree on. Then comes the second surprise. What you thought was included often isn’t.
Food, fuel, marina fees, final cleaning, and various onboard expenses are frequently divided among the crew at the end of the week. This is usually the moment when calculations begin.
Some people want to save money, others want to enjoy themselves without restrictions, and sooner or later someone ends up feeling uncomfortable. The result? Instead of relaxing, you’re discussing receipts and splitting bills.
Another important difference is the atmosphere on board. Everyone who joins this experience is looking for something similar:
This creates a relaxed and welcoming environment from the very beginning.
Many guests arrive alone and leave with new friendships.
Show up, settle into your cabin, take a deep breath and allow yourself to enjoy the experience.
We’ll take care of the rest.
One of the things our guests appreciate most is the simplicity of the experience.
When we say “all-inclusive”, we genuinely mean it.
There are no hidden costs, no fuel contributions, no marina fees to split at the end of the week, and no uncomfortable discussions about shared expenses.
Your only job is to enjoy the experience.

The boarding process is simple and relaxed. After settling into your cabin and attending a short safety briefing, we set sail and begin our adventure.
In addition to our Yoga & Sail weeks, we have created two unique experiences for guests looking for something a little different.
A week dedicated to sailing, relaxation, and exceptional food. Fresh ingredients, creative recipes, shared meals, and the pleasure of discovering how memorable life at sea can be when great cooking becomes part of the journey. Perfect for anyone who loves food as much as they love travel.
A week dedicated to movement, balance, breathing, and inner calm. Through Tai Chi, meditation, and gentle daily practice, you’ll explore a different way of experiencing both the sea and yourself. Suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.
Alberto Lombardi is the founder of Tuscany Quintessence, a boutique tour operator specialising in small-group travel experiences throughout Tuscany and Italy.
Before dedicating himself fully to tourism, Alberto built a successful international career with General Electric, where he developed the organisational skills, attention to detail, and operational discipline that now shape every Tuscany Quintessence experience.
His passion for the sea has been a constant throughout his life. In 2014, he took part in and won the prestigious ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers), one of the world’s most famous transatlantic sailing events, crossing the Atlantic Ocean aboard a sailing yacht.
Today, Alberto combines his love for sailing, travel, nature, and hospitality to create experiences that are carefully organised yet relaxed, authentic, and deeply human.
Guests particularly appreciate his calm presence, professionalism, extensive sailing experience, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable from the very first day on board.
His goal is simple: to create an environment where people can slow down, feel at ease, and enjoy the sea in complete confidence.
Because a great sailing holiday is not only about the places you visit, but also about the people who guide you there.
